Disclaimer

Mary Sheiko is not a doctor and she is not licensed in any state as a homeopath. Mary Sheiko Homeopathy LLC does not provide medical advice or services but, rather, provides private consulting for individuals wishing to use homeopathy for themselves or their dependent. This consulting involves educational information sharing and advice about homeopathy and its impact on the person. Any of the above used by the consultee or their dependent is considered self-use and is the consultee’s sole responsibility.

Furthermore, Mary Sheiko’s homeopathic consulting, advice, and education through Mary Sheiko Homeopathy, LLC is not medical care. Homeopathy is complementary to regular medical care or emergency care. It is not a replacement for seeing a doctor for regular medical care including emergency care. It is recommended that you work with your physician for medical needs and discuss all health and medical decisions with them.

Mary Sheiko cannot diagnose, prevent, treat, mitigate, or cure disease.

Third-Party Relationships and Affiliate Disclosure

Mary Sheiko and Mary Sheiko Homeopathy, LLC provide independent support services for users of Similia Homeopathy Software (“Similia”). While Mary serves as a Similia affiliate and may perform contracted work, Mary Sheiko and Mary Sheiko Homeopathy, LLC operate as separate entities and are not employed by, affiliated with, or acting on behalf of Similia. Any recommendations, guidance, or support are provided in an independent professional capacity. Mary Sheiko Homeopathy, LLC may receive compensation through affiliate relationships if you choose to purchase Similia products or services through referral links.

Governing Law and Venue
By engaging in services with Mary Sheiko Homeopathy, LLC, you agree that these Terms and any dispute arising from the services shall be governed exclusively by the laws of the State of Indiana, United States.

You further agree that any legal action must be brought solely in a court of competent jurisdiction located in Indiana, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of such courts.

Terms of Service

The goal of the homeopath is to help strengthen the constitution and thereby raise the general level of well-being of the client through the gentle prompting of the vital force by homeopathic remedies. Consultations include a comprehensive intake that carefully evaluates the whole person. Clients are asked about their physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual health; temperament, personal habits, likes/dislikes; unique outlook on life, as well as life experiences. Providing this information will allow the homeopath to understand each client as an individual and to provide the most holistic education and recommendations about homeopathic remedies.

I acknowledge that Mary Sheiko is not a doctor and does not provide medical advice or services but, rather, provides private consulting and education for individuals wishing to use homeopathy for themselves or their dependent(s). This consulting involves information sharing about homeopathy, including suggested remedies, and general wellness. Any of the above used by me, the consultee, or my dependent(s) is considered self-treatment and is my sole responsibility.

I acknowledge that Mary Sheiko / Mary Sheiko Homeopathy, LLC cannot diagnose, prevent, treat, mitigate, or cure disease. She makes no claim to my results. No homeopath can guarantee improvements to my overall well-being.

My Responsibility: Providing information during consultations regarding my physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual health; temperament, personal habits, likes/dislikes; unique outlook on life, as well as life experiences, will allow Mary Sheiko to better understand me or my dependent as an individual and thereby provide the best recommendations for homeopathic remedies and education about remedies. I am responsible for seeing my physician(s) for regular medical care and emergency care. I am responsible for contacting my physician(s) about any health concerns I may have or come to have. I am recommended to notify my doctor about any changes I choose to make to my health or healthcare routine. Our consults will include discussion about the client information shared as described above; homeopathy, including possible remedy recommendations; and general wellness. Any of the above information used by me is considered self-treatment and is my sole responsibility for myself or my dependent. It is important that I tell Mary Sheiko about any medical diagnosis, prescription medications, or supplements including herbs that I take as it may impact her awareness about the information she shares with me, as well as the possible remedies she shares with me as well as the recommendations she may give. I will note the time-frame recommended for each remedy and continue only as long as recommended or check with Mary Sheiko before continuing. I acknowledge that Mary Sheiko is currently a homeopath in training.

Consent

I am over 18 years of age and have voluntarily chosen homeopathic consulting for myself and/or my dependent. I understand that Mary Sheiko is providing homeopathic consulting as described above. I am aware that this is not care given by a medical doctor and that Mary Sheiko is not a licensed health care practitioner.

Finally, I agree that the use of the services of Mary Sheiko / Mary Sheiko Homeopathy, LLC, and/or the website MarySheikoHomeopathy.com is voluntary and my use of them expresses:

1. Sole and full responsibility for the consequences of applying any information gained by aforementioned services or website and to hold Mary Sheiko / Mary Sheiko Homeopathy, LLC harmless for said use;
2. Any and all claims are governed by law and nor legal codes, acts, or statues, and may be settled only by private arbitration and me and my heirs, administrators, or assigns give up the right to sue, file a complaint against Mary Sheiko / Mary Sheiko Homeopathy, LLC in court or seek trial by jury;
3. Trade for service is due at the beginning of each appointment or as described (see Payments and Communications below) and is not returnable;
4. Unauthorized use of services, materials, or access for investigatory, enforcement, or entrapment purposes constitutes a material breach of this agreement. In such cases, Mary Sheiko / Mary Sheiko Homeopathy, LLC may recover reasonable liquidated damages reflecting administrative burden and disruption, in addition to costs and fees incurred, and may seek equitable or injunctive relief.

Confidentiality

I understand that all information disclosed is confidential and may not be revealed to anyone without written permission, except when disclosure is required by law. Disclosure may be required in circumstances such as: a reasonable suspicion of child or elder abuse or a reasonable suspicion that a client presents a danger to him/herself or others. This serves as written permission authorizing discussion of my case with other homeopaths and/or health care professionals should the need arise if my best interest is served by such a consultation or for purposes of case analysis or educational purposes. In doing so, my right to privacy will be protected by withholding identifying information.

Consultation Fees, Payments, & Rescheduling

In consideration of services to be rendered, I agree to pay the consultant, in accordance with their regular rates and terms, for the services rendered.

Fees

Initial Consultation: $170 USD
Follow-Up Consultation: $100 USD
Acute Consultation: $50 USD

Other packages and discounts may be offered at an agreed-upon rate in oral or written communication with me, including through the Mary Sheiko / Mary Sheiko Homeopathy, LLC booking site. All payments are due in USD at the time of booking or service.

Refunds & Payment Processing Fees via Stripe

In addition, I am responsible for any additional fees charged by payment processors, banks, or creditors, including but not limited to international service fees. Payments are processed through Stripe and are subject to Stripe’s standard, non-refundable processing fees. If a refund is issued, these processing fees will be deducted from the refunded amount, as Stripe does not return them to their merchants.

Stripe’s typical processing fees include, but are not limited to:

U.S. online card payments: approximately 2.9% of the transaction amount plus $0.30 per transaction
International cards: an additional ~1.5%
Currency conversion (if applicable): an additional ~1%

The exact fee deducted may vary based on the card type, issuing country, and currency used. Mary Sheiko / Mary Sheiko Homeopathy, LLC does not control or modify these fees and cannot reimburse processing costs retained by Stripe.

For international clients, all exchange rate conversions and associated bank or transfer fees are the responsibility of the client.

Payments & Billing
Payments may be made through Stripe, PayPal, or other arrangements agreed upon by both Mary Sheiko / Mary Sheiko Homeopathy, LLC and me.

By scheduling an appointment or purchasing a service, I authorize Mary Sheiko / Mary Sheiko Homeopathy, LLC and its designated third-party payment processor(s) to collect, store, and charge the payment method provided for fees associated with the service(s) requested or rendered. I acknowledge that payment details may be securely retained for future authorized transactions and may be updated or removed upon request.

Cancellations, Rescheduling, and No-Shows

I understand that Mary Sheiko / Mary Sheiko Homeopathy, LLC requires at least 24 hours’ notice for all cancellations or rescheduled bookings. Notice of cancellation or rescheduling must be provided in writing via email to MarySheikoHomeopathy@gmail.com or through the designated booking platform by cancelling or rescheduling the booking.

When notice to Cancel is received less than 24 hours prior to booking time or when client is a “No Show” (see below for definition), no refund will be given. Notice to Reschedule less than 24 hours prior will be subject to a 30% administrative fee. Rescheduling, Changes, or Cancellations 72–24 hours prior to the appointment will be subject to a 30% administrative fee. Cancellations without rescheduling more than 72 hours prior are subject to a 30% fee.

Any discounted consultations or packages will be charged an appropriate and equivalent fee for that particular consultation.

Each appointment may be rescheduled no more than once. Additional changes may be subject to forfeiture of the original fee.

All refunds are issued minus any non-refundable payment processing fees, as these are retained by the processor and not returned to Mary Sheiko / Mary Sheiko Homeopathy, LLC.

No-Show Definition: No-shows are non-transferable and non-refundable, except in rare circumstances approved at the sole discretion of Mary Sheiko / Mary Sheiko Homeopathy, LLC. A “No-Show” is defined as any of the following: Failure to attend a scheduled appointment without prior notice, Failure to submit a required Consultation Consent Form before the session, Arriving more than 15 minutes late without communication, and/or Canceling after the scheduled start time.

Emergency Exceptions

True emergencies can arise unexpectedly. In the event of a medical emergency, accident, or other urgent situation, I will notify Mary Sheiko / Mary Sheiko Homeopathy, LLC as soon as possible. Exceptions to this policy may be granted at the discretion of Mary Sheiko / Mary Sheiko Homeopathy, LLC.

Technical Difficulties

If we experience technical difficulties, we will find an alternative method of communication (such as Zoom, WhatsApp, or Google Meet) or reschedule without penalty.

Late Policy

The consultation will begin and end at the time scheduled. If I arrive late, the consultation may proceed; however, the duration of the session may be reduced accordingly, and the full consultation fee will still apply. Failure to attend a scheduled consultation without prior notice, as outlined in these terms, will result in forfeiture of the full consultation fee.

Extended Sessions

Consultations that exceed the allotted appointment time will be charged at $25 USD per additional 15 minutes.

Severability and Agreement Acknowledgement

By booking a consultation, I acknowledge that I have read, understood, and agree to these terms in full. If any provision of these terms is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in effect.

Homeopathic Remedies

Consultation fees do not include the cost of homeopathic remedies. Mary Sheiko / Mary Sheiko Homeopathy, LLC will provide information on resources from which I may order remedies directly.

At my request, and as a convenience only, Mary Sheiko Homeopathy, LLC may assist by ordering remedies on my behalf. In such cases, I agree to reimburse the full cost of the remedies, along with shipping and handling, and any applicable Stripe processing fees, via a Stripe payment link provided after purchase. These charges represent direct costs only and are not retained as profit.

If remedies are ordered on my behalf, I agree to provide a valid shipping address for this purpose. My address information will be used solely to facilitate delivery of the remedies and will not be shared or used for any other purpose.

Record-Keeping

Mary Sheiko / Mary Sheiko Homeopathy, LLC is not a medical provider and does not create or maintain medical records as defined under healthcare or insurance regulations. Limited administrative information may be retained for business purposes. Upon client request, appointment dates or previously provided remedy recommendations may be made available for an additional fee, determined at the time of request. Clients are encouraged to maintain their own records of appointments and remedies used.

Communication Consents

By booking a consultation or by the action itself of communicating with Mary through any of these methods, I automatically consent to the following communications: Emails, Virtual meetings, Text messages, Voicemails, Phone calls, and any other method Mary and I mutually agree upon. I can revoke this consent at any time by emailing Mary at: MarySheikoHomeopathy@gmail.com, Attn: Communication Consents.

Acknowledgement

I acknowledge receipt of the Consultation Agreement including Disclaimer & Terms, Consent to Consult, Confidentiality, Payments, and Communication Consents.

Request to Consult

By booking a consultation, I request that Mary Sheiko / Mary Sheiko Homeopathy, LLC performs a consultation for the intended purpose of educating me regarding homeopathy and I acknowledge that any use of homeopathic remedies is considered self-treatment for myself or my dependent.

Acknowledgement

I acknowledge receipt of the Consultation Agreement including Disclaimer & Terms, Consent to Consult, Confidentiality, Payments, and Communication Consents and Consent to Documentation.

Terms of Sale

Mary offers paid services and products for a fee. I am responsible for paying all charged fees and applicable taxes in a timely manner with a payment processor associated with the paid products. I agree not to use an invalid or unauthorized payment method. Mary Sheiko / Mary Sheiko Homeopathy LLC reserves the right to disable or refuse any Product for which she has not received adequate payment. Unless otherwise stated, all fees are quoted in U.S. Dollars. I am responsible for any sales, value-added, withholding, or similar taxes that apply to my purchase, whether domestic or foreign.

Purchases can be made through PayPal.

By purchasing any service or product, I hereby consent and agree to abide by third-party internet payment service providers such as PayPal. If I do not agree to such third-party internet payment service providers’ customer terms and conditions or privacy policies, I will not purchase any services or products. It is my sole responsibility to find, read, and understand any third party policies.

Users receive a single, personal, limited-use, non-exclusive, and non-transferable license, and any other use without Mary’s written consent is strictly prohibited.
